Journey to Jamaica's legendary rum factory - Appleton Estates, and sample freshly squeezed cane juice and learn how our famous Appleton Rum has been produced over the centuries. Established since 1749, Appleton Estates is considered by many to be the finest distillers in the world.
We will take you through the whole process - from extracting juice from sugarcane to tasting the final product in their air-conditioned Appleton lounge. Following lunch, we head for Black River and hop on a motor launch for a ride up Jamaica's longest navigable and into the beautifully protected wetlands. Get a firsthand experience of wildlife, tropical birds and crocodiles in their natural habitat.
