Depart Bayview Villas and take in the awesome view of the Blue Mountain range as you journey to St. Thomas, not before having the real taste of jerk at Boston, home of Jerk. Take a revitalizing bath at Bath Fountain & Spa and experience the warm healing waters from a mineral spring. Relax and enjoy the journey across the hilly terrain of the parish to Kingston and visit Devon House home of the famous and favourite “Devon House I Scream”. Enjoy an easy ride up Hope Road and visit the University of the West Indies, now home to Racers Club. You will observe the relics of the plantation era with ruins of the aqueducts, then drive through the University of Technology, also home of the MVP camp. Take an easy evening ride around the suburbs of St. Andrew and then “escape” to Port Royal and “chill out” before returning to Kingston for a relaxing night at Four Seasons Hotel in Kingston.
Visit the former base of Henry Morgan’s “buccaneers” and see Fort Charles and other buildings that remind us of that era of piracy in Jamaica. Enjoy a comfortable ride along Kingston Harbour to the Bank of Jamaica and view the Money Museum where you will certainly see those long talked about notes and coins that we used as children or that our parents and grandparents would always tell us about…from Taino trade to pieces of eight…Christian quatties…From pounds, shillings and pence to dollars and cents. A tour through downtown Kingston would take you through Parade, the centerpiece of Kingston and up to the National Heroes Park where you see monuments and finalresting places of our National Heroes and other outstanding Jamaicans. Experience a very scenic and comfortable ride along the Mandela Highway and Highway 2000 to Clarendon. Treat your “tastebuds” to “real” Jamaican Patties and continue on a very scenic ride through central Jamaica to one of Jamaica’s most popular seafood restaurants, Little Ochie. Enjoy a sumptuous seafood meal and retire for the night at Sunset Resort & Villas in Treasure Beach.
See where two lovers chose death rather than be separated at Lovers Leap. Enjoy a seven mile journey by boat in the lower morass of the Black River. You will be amazed to see the crocodiles bask in the sun; enjoy the sights of water birds, mangroves and water lilies during the journey. Take a relaxing and scenic ride to YS Falls, which boasts a magnificent seven tiered cascading waterfall, canopy rides, river tube rides and expansive wading pool fed by underground spring. There you will spend some time immersed in the bounty of nature, surrounded by water, garden, giant trees and a constant surprise of tropical birds. After this exhilarating experience on the falls, journey into the cockpit country to the home of the Maroons, Accompong Town.
